Types of membership
The Student Dance Factory offers two types of membership: SDF and WDC membership.
If you sign up for SDF membership (half or full year):
– You are free to join every Wednesday from 18:30 until 19:30 (Open Style) or Wednesday from 19:30 until 20:30 (Contemporary).
– You can join all workshops and social activities.
If you sign up for WDC membership (September/February):
– You are obligated to join every Friday from 19:30 until 21:00.
– You are free to join every Wednesday.
– You can join all workshops and social activities.
– Note: you need to have passed the auditions for Wageningen Dance Collective to sign up for this membership.
Membership requirements
In order to become a member of the Student Dance Factory, you are required to:
– Be in possession of a student card with valid YEARLY sports rights from Sports Centre de Bongerd (SCB).
– Pay a membership contribution fee to SDF.
Sports rights
Purchasing yearly sports rights allows you to exercise and take group classes at SCB, but most importantly, it allows you to become a member of student sports associations, like ours! More information on how to request sports rights can be found on the website of SCB.
Membership contribution
In order to be able to fund all classes and activities SDF offers, we ask each member to pay contribution for their membership. Here’s an overview of all membership contribution fees for academic year 2026/2027:
- SDF – Half year membership (1 semester): €25
- SDF – Full year membership (2 semesters): €35
- WDC – Half year membership (1 semester): €35
- WDC – Full year membership (2 semesters): €45
